This beautifully crafted sculpture is a remarkable depiction of Yellow Dzambhala, the Deity of Wealth. Skillfully made from copper alloy through the traditional Lost Wax Method, this statue embodies the deity’s essence with remarkable detail and accuracy.
Dzambhala sits gracefully upon a meticulously crafted lotus sun and moon disc, representing his enlightened essence. In his right hand, he holds a precious "mani" citron fruit (bijapuraka), symbolizing the wish-fulfilling essence of his blessings. In his left hand, he carries a mongoose that spouts jewels, representing the prosperity and richness he grants to his followers.
The statue showcases remarkable intricate details—from the robes embellished with finely crafted patterns to the five-pointed crown and opulent jewelry adorning him, each element exudes a sense of mastery. The collection of jewels positioned on the lotus base below him, along with the intricate conch shell placed atop a lotus flower beneath his right foot, showcases the remarkable craftsmanship at play.
Completed with a beautiful oxidation finish, the statue radiates an ancient, yet enduring charm, animating Dzambhala with a profound sense of depth and realism. This exquisite piece is skillfully created by the esteemed Shakya artisans of Patan, Nepal, whose craftsmanship has been handed down through generations, transforming this sculpture into both a stunning work of art and a cherished continuation of a sacred tradition.
